It's pretty strange, but I promised I'd add it... Bizarre, surrealistic, melodramatic costume-drama. Bodice-ripper pastiche with a lesbian twist. Migraine-inducing color. "Set in the mythical seaport of Hope sometime during the 19th century, a beautiful merchant hires a handsome but penniless immigrant to seduce her opium-addicted sister away from her sinister paramour."
