This JEEP failed a safety inspection over seas and was deemed not roadworthy due to rust. So why not take it out and thrash it? And the right hand drive was an overseas version as well as a postal delivery JEEP in the states. The popping at the end was just simply the rev limiter in it. From the video it looks like the tranny cooler lines broke and it lost the tranny from no fluid.

OK I see to many false statements, its probably a junk yard find, and bought for 200-300 bucks, the tranny did not go bad at the end of the movie, the engine is what faulted, although I'm sure the tranny was pretty smashed and about to fail. I think the oil pan ruptured if I saw it right, and stop dissing them for destroying it, the movies is fucking awesome as hell, I want to do that with a Grand Cherokee, haha.

Jeep,toughest vehicles ever made. This make is reason enough to save Chrysler. The Cherokee's 4.0L I-6 is damn near bullet proof and the suspension and unibody design, though challenging to lift, was an engineering marvel when first conceived. This is a factory XJ and you see what it can do. No wonder the XJ lasted and astonishing 18 years with little more than a few fender rounding design updates. Jeep isn't for the luxury craving driver but if you want a true off-road brand this is it.

It is only us in the UK that have right hand drive cars and drive on the left hand side of the road. The rest of the countries (Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Denmark, Belgium, Luxemberg, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Slovenia, Hungary, Finalnd, Norway, Sweden, etc etc etc drive like you Americans on the right side of the road in Left hand drive cars...
