First know onion has a Free Paper just like THE Red eye, ect. In the paper they put ads for businesses, I have seen plenty of product placements in there videos. I imagine thats how they are paid.Onion has been around for a long time..

LOL, but its so professionally made. How does one of such stature go to the extent of creating such fabricated yet plausible comic relief in such a professional manner, i mean are they getting paid to do this, or do they just randomly take time out of there adult lives to bring laughter to the likes of the human race.

I love the brilliant people who suddenly noticed that this official video from a well known satirical comedy company is 'not real'. You people are what makes youtube comments so great. Also the people that try and argue philosophy in the youtube comment section of an onion video.
