the band started as a group named pride, and she was a back up singer for the group. then she decided to move on and make her own band, and recruited members from pride, one of the members left because he didnt like the idea of them being named Sade. Lovely. I used to have to play these songs when I played in the Jazz Band at college. Too bad, I think that I could have really liked the music if I hadn't heard the cheesy college jazz band arrangements first.

one of my favorites! I have every album the group has made, I love Sade!!! The don't make music like this anymore.

This is one of my favorite songs by her. She really should consider making another album. She's truly missed on the music scene. I read she was having children and raising a family.

actually, the name of her band is called sade. they were a band with no singer. they recriuted her, and the rest is history.
